Buying Local

Searching out regional products and produce can be time consuming. To save you some effort, this page will be dedicated to providing you with listings of the best local foods and freshest produce in our area. Spring is right around the corner and soon all of the farmers’ markets will be opening up again. Several are open year-round. Support these hard-working people and treat yourself to wonderful organic fruits and vegetables.

Also, I’ll recommend commercial products that I’ve had success with and where they can be purchased.

Please post to “Comments” any additions that you might have.

Publix
You can find quite a few organic products now at Publix. They don't carry almond meal, but they do have Agave Nectar, Coconut and Almond Milk, and coconut oil

Walmart
Shopping here is hit or miss, but I have noticed that a few more organic products are appearing on the shelves. Look for coconut oil in the cooking oil section.  The price is great compared to the other stores. They also have Agave Nectar in the baking aisle. The prices on produce are usually lower than the other supermarkets in town.
